Orroral is a small campground in the Orroral Valley, about 45 minutes south of Canberra in Namadgi National Park. Eastern grey kangaroos graze right through camp, and the ruins of the Orroral Valley Space Tracking Station — which supported NASA missions from 1965 to 1985 — are a short walk away. With only a handful of sites, it fills up quickly on weekends and holidays.
